How to prepare your contact list
Put one person per row in Excel or Google Sheets, with the cellphone number in the first column. Add columns for anything you want in the message, like a first name, then save the file as Excel or CSV.
- Use full 10-digit cellphone numbers, like 0821234567. We'll tell you if your portal needs the international format, like 27821234567.
- Remove duplicates, so nobody gets the same message twice.
- Keep marketing lists separate, and only add people who agreed to hear from you.
- Delete numbers that keep failing. Your delivery reports show which ones they are.

Bulk SMS usually arrives from a number, so the first words should say who it's from.

Stay under 160 characters
A one-part SMS uses one credit. Check yours with the SMS character counter.
Add STOP to marketing
Every promotional SMS must tell people how to opt out. Reply STOP to opt out does the job.
Skip emoji and curly quotes
They switch the SMS to Unicode, which cuts it to 70 characters.
Send at the right time
Marketing can go out on weekdays from 08:00 to 20:00 and Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00.
Why can't I send straight from this website?
Because an open send box would be used for spam. Every sender gets a verified account first, so each message can be traced to a real business. That protects the people on your list.
Opening an account takes a WhatsApp chat: tell us your business name and what you send, pay for a pack, and we send your login.
Ask us for a test SMS and we'll send one from the portal to your own phone, so you can see how a message arrives.

Can I send bulk SMS from my phone?
Yes. Log in to the portal in your phone's browser and send from there, the same way you would on a computer.
Can I schedule an SMS for later?
Yes. Pick the date and time when you send, and the message goes out then.
Can people reply to my SMS?
Yes. Replies come back to your portal, so you can ask people to confirm with YES or opt out with STOP.
How fast do messages arrive?
Messages start going out as soon as you press send. Big lists take a little longer to work through, and your delivery report fills in as messages arrive.
What if a number on my list is wrong?
The delivery report shows it as failed. Remove those numbers from your list so you don't pay for them again.
